It is reported that because Iran was dissatisfied with the penalty, the two teams almost clashed after the game.

In this game, the Iranian U20 men's football team, who came to China to warm up, committed a low-level "own goal". They did not know in advance that the opponent they were going to face off in Haikou this time was China's 2003 age group team. Instead, they used the video of the game against China's 05 age group National Youth Team in August this year for analysis.

In the first half, the U21 national football team relied on Bao Shengxin to score a goal in the 37th minute to break the deadlock. In the 41st minute, Iran team No. 7 player Ismail dribbled the ball into the penalty area and was cleared by Zhang Yixuan. But the referee insisted on making the penalty and ignored it.

According to arrangements, the U21 national football team will have its second warm-up match with the Iranian team on the 14th.
